Cost of Growth

Central Texas has experienced unprecedented growth and development, creating a need for expanding, improving and acquiring infrastructure to accommodate the needs of current and future residents. When evaluating these projects, public officials need to look at the long-term impact of growth and development and to what extent growth pays for itself. Is there a breaking point at which growth isn’t worth the cost? This site is dedicated to transparency about where the public’s tax dollars are going in Texas and who’s paying for growth.
